Here at Puppies Up North, we believe that all dogs go to Heaven…it’s a stretch but I believe if the Creator of the heavens and earth made these beautiful creatures, then why wouldn’t He want them with Him in heaven.  Psalms 36:6 says “You, oh Lord, preserve both people and animals.

Many times I get the calls from families, with tears in your voice that your companion, best friend, love of your life, walking partner has passed away.  I love dogs so much and I have been through the grief of loosing our “loves” too.

I cry with you, I love to talk about all your puppies / dog did…and I always want to encourage you to remember those wonderfully beautiful moments you and your dog were able to share in their life they lived with your.  Sometimes it’s only a few week that you’ve had them, some you’ve had for years and sometimes you explain of the lifetime of memories that you share.  We realize that accidents happen, we also realize that dog sometimes don’t listen when you are calling and calling for them to avoid pain.  We are not here to condemn, we are here to listen, to love on your puppy, to cry with you, and to talk you through your pain!

I found a picture years ago that perfectly sums up what I think happens when our dogs die…I believe one of our past goldens will meet them in heaven and show them around!
